Uganda Para-Rowing Federation

Rowing Without Limits

Building a stronger, more inclusive future for Para Rowing in Uganda.

Welcome

Welcome to Uganda Para-Rowing Federation

The Uganda Para-Rowing Federation exists to develop Para Rowing across the country — creating pathways for athletes with disabilities to discover the sport, build their skills and compete at the highest level they can reach.

We support athletes through training and development, create inclusive opportunities for new participants, build the capacity of coaches and officials, and promote Uganda's participation in national, regional, continental and international Para Rowing.

Understanding The Sport

What Is Para Rowing?

Para Rowing enables eligible athletes with disabilities to take part in competitive rowing under adapted sporting classifications and competition rules.

Boats, equipment and events are adapted so athletes can compete on fair and equal terms within their classification. Para Rowing is contested at national, regional, continental and international level, including within the World Rowing structure.

On classification: the Uganda Para-Rowing Federation does not set or interpret classification rules. For authoritative information on Para Rowing classification, please refer to World Rowing, the sport's international governing body.
